What is Ads Manager?

Ads Manager is the simple way to get your ads from Icon straight to Facebook without the hassle of downloading and re-uploading files. It handles moving your ad files so you don't have to switch between tools or waste time with extra steps. You can upload both images and videos directly to your Facebook creative library or add them to a specific adset you're already running.

Why Use Ads Manager?

  • No more downloading and re-uploading files between Icon and Facebook

  • Fewer mistakes that happen when you manually move files around

  • Stay in one place for your entire ad creation process

  • Less frustration by connecting your creative work straight to your Facebook ads

How to Get Started

  1. Connect to Facebook

    • Go to the Ads Manager section in Icon

    • Click "Connect Meta Account" and follow the login steps

    • Allow Icon to access your Facebook ad account

    • You'll see a confirmation message when the connection is successful

    • Choose ads you've created with Icon's tools like AdGPT, Kanva, or Adcut

    • Make sure your ads meet Facebook's size and format requirements

    • Take a quick look to make sure everything looks good

  3. Pick Where to Send Your Ads

    • Decide if you want to add to your Facebook creative library or a specific adset

    • If going to an adset, pick the campaign and adset from the dropdown

    • If adding to your creative library, choose which folder to put it in (if you use folders)

  4. Upload Your Ads

    • Click the "Select Ads" button in the top right corner of the screen

    • Choose the ads you want to upload from your Icon library

    • After selecting your ads, click the "Upload" button in the bottom middle of the screen

    • For videos, make sure they're in the right format for Facebook

    • For images, check that the dimensions will work for Facebook ads

Pro Tips

  • Upload in batches: Send multiple ads at once to save time

  • Name things clearly: Use names that will help you find the ads later in Facebook

  • Try variations: Upload different versions of the same ad to see what works best

  • Organize first: Sort your ads in Icon before uploading to keep things tidy

Best Practices

  • Check your Facebook connection before starting a big upload

  • For videos, make sure they're good quality before uploading

  • Reconnect your Facebook account if uploads start failing

  • When adding to adsets, double-check that the adset is still active

  • Keep a similar organization system in both Icon and Facebook

  • For images, remember Facebook has rules about how much text can be in an ad

  • Occasionally check your upload history to make sure everything transferred correctly
